Personal Life

Amrita Khan was born on 24th December 1997 in Satkhira, Bangladesh. Originally her family is from Tangail, however, at the time of her birth, Amrita’s father was posted in Satkhira. She studied at Siddiqui’s International School and YWCA Higher Secondary Girls’ School. Amitra’s parents are Taher Khan and Dilara Islam. Taher Khan worked at UNDP and Dilara Islam was a business person. She has an elder brother, Amit Khan.

Career

Before being regular into the movie, Amitra was involved in different type of media activities. At the age of 3 performed dance in the stage. However, she got popularity through TV advertisement. She started to work in the TV ad since 2002. Her first work was with Afzal Hossain for the brand of “Aramit Sandel”. Later she worked for the brand of Pran, Apollo Hospital, Power Voice etc. She also worked in the TV drama “Unish Bochor Pore”.

Besides, Amrita came under limelight while she selected in the character of “Jhinuk” for the remake movie “Antorey-Antorey” originally acted by Salman Shah and Moushumi. However, her first movie was “Game”(2015). Later she worked in the movie “Gunda The Terrorist”, “Pagla Diwana”, “Gum” etc. Meanwhile, she took a break from the movie due to her “A” level and “O” level exams. Then she returned and signed for multiple new movies.

During 2013, Amitra involved in controversy while she exposed a renowned movie director. She disclosed to the media about the offensive proposal by the director. Based on the allegation of Amrita Khan, concern authority suspended the director’s membership.
