Bijori Barkatullah is a Bangladeshi model, actress, and dancer. For decades she maintained her presence in Bangladeshi media. Bijori came from a renowned family with cultural background. Bijori was born on 15th November in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She studied up to Higher Secondary at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College. Later she got admission at the University of Dhaka to study in Philosophy.

Her parents are Mohammad Barkatullah and Zeenat Barkatullah. Mohammad Barkatullah originally was a dance artist, later became a TV drama director. On the other hand, Zeenat Barkatullah is Bangladesh’s one of the most renowned dancer and actress. Bijori’s mother, Zeenat received Shilpakala Academy award for her extraordinary role in Bangladesh’s dancing “industry. Bijori has a sister, Kajori Barkatullah. Kazori worked as a presenter in the famous Bangladeshi magazine program “Ittyadi” and worked as a producer as well.
Relationship:
Bijori Barkatullah married Shawkat Ali Emon in 1995. Emon was a famous musician in Bangladesh. This couple had a daughter, Urbana Shawkat. However, they divorced in 2012. Later, Bijori married Intekhab Dinar in 2013. Intekhab is a popular actor in Bangladesh. Bijori mentioned that she took permission from Urbana before married again.
Career
At the age of 2.5, Bijori stood in front of the camera for the first time. She grew up in a media surrounded family. However, she debuted TV drama was “Shukher Charpottro”. It aired during 1988 and directed by his father Mohammad Barkatulla. Bijori did not work there at her own wish but because Zeenat (Bijori’s mother) told her to do so. She was studying in class 6 then. In that act, her dialogue “Oh Boy” became popular among the spectators. Then she took quite a long break and returned in the TV serial “Kothaw Kau Nei”. Since then she performed in numerous TV dramas and became one of a most renowned artist in Bangladesh TV drama industry.
Despite her success in TV drama acting, Bijori always gives dancing her first priority. She explains that dancing helped her to establish her in the media. Bijori made a guest appearance in super hit Bangla movie “Aynabaji”. Meanwhile, Bijori worked as a host in Mukh o Mukhorota in Desh TV and also worked as a guest judge in “Rong RTV 20-20 colors Model Search” contest.
