Jon Kabir is a Bangladeshi singer and actor. He is mostly known for his work in the band “Black”. However, Jon has come out from the shadow of the band and created his space with acting and formed a new band.

Personal Life of Jon Kabir:

Kazi Jahangir Kabir is known as Jon Kabir. He was born on 10th July 1981. His studied at Wills Little Flower and graduated from North South University. Jon was passionate about music since his childhood. He, Tony and Jahan were three friends in school and built the band. His younger brother “James” was a musician as well.

Forming Black Band:

Jon built band “Black” in 1998 with his school friend and introduced themselves in 1999. Later, Tahsan and Miraz joined in this band. During that period, Elita Karim sometimes works them as guest vocalist. Black passed their golden period from the year 2000 to 2005. They produced super hit songs one after another. Their favorite genre of music was “Alternative Rock”, “Alternative Metal” and Grunge. Jon left this band in 2013 due to personal reason.

Life after “Black” and forming new band “Indalo”:

Jon’s first in front camera presence for acting was for “Offbeat” drama. He became active in media after he permanently left band “Black”. Though he is not interested in tag himself as a proper actor rather he thinks he is being taken to increase the overall value of the show. We can find Jon mostly on the special day such as “Valentine’s Day” or “Eid Day” drama.

After Black, Jon built a new band “Indalo”. Regarding the future of Indalo, Jon said, “Live for the moment but, future plans with INDALO, is to have more fun and to make more songs. With INDALO, the fun is endless!” “Pearl Jam” is one of the inspiration to form this band.
