Tahsan is multi-skilled personnel in Bangladesh entertainment industry. We have seen Tahsan in song composer, singer, actor, and teacher’s role in real life. Personal Life:
Tahsan Rahman Khan was born on 18th October 1979. He was born in Bikrampur, Munishganj. It is his parental site to live in. This multi-skilled personal was very keen about music since his childhood. His passion for music evolved in Chhayanat and Shishu Academy. Other than music, he was also shown his brightness in the regular education. He passed SSC and HSC respectively from Saint Joseph Secondary High School and Notre Dame College by 1998.
In the next phase of the study, Tahsan completed his BBA and MBA from IBA in respectively Marketing and Finance in major. He did not stop there but perused for second MBA in Brand Management from Carlson School Management, The University of Minnesota with Scholarship. After completing the degree he returned in 2010.
Married Life:
Tahsan married Rafiath Rashid Mithila in 2006. They were a popular couple in the entertainment industry. This couple was fabulous on and off camera. Both of them were highly educated. They worked together in multiple tv drama, song. This couple had a girl in 2013. Her name is Tehreem Khan. However, this relationship stayed 11 years. In 2017 they finalized their divorce formalities.
Regarding the divorce, Mithila told, “A Divorce does not take place for one reason. In the perspective of Bangladesh, for a girl, it is not easy for the decision of divorce. But at one point I have to agree with reality. In the road of life, we understood, we are two different people and looking for two different things.”
On the same issue, Tahsan told, “We two are not agreed to live the whole life together just because of the fear of society”
Career:
Music Career:
Tahsan learned about different branches of music since his childhood. He practiced Rabindra Sangit at Chayanat for six years. However, he started the music career with the band “Black” in 1998. This band introduced themselves in 1999. This band created a strong ground when their first album “Amar Prithibi (2001) released. They came up with an alternative rock style music which attracted music fans in a small time frame. However, Tahsan left this band. He told about leaving the band “All the members of “Black” band are still my friends. Actually, they wanted to do much Alternative Rock style songs while I do the Slow Balanced style song. So I wanted to respect their opinion. I did not want to force my opinion on them.”
Even before he left the band, this signer worked on the solo songs. After he left he gave more on solo songs. He even released an album with his ex-wife Mithila. In 2012 after coming back with foreign degree, he established a band, “Tahsan & The Sufis”. Tahsan is also very popular as Music Composure and also involved as movie play back singer.
Acting Career:
Tahsan started his acting with the valentine’s day special TV drama “Off Beat” in 2004. He was not quite regular in acting but after 2011 he presented in front of camera regularly. In most cases, he worked in a single episode drama. Tahsan did not bring much diversification in his character in different shows but very much focused on urban boy character.
Other than the TV drama participation, we found him in different popular TV commercials as well. He was also worked as host of different events. Tahsan has also worked in a movie “Jodi Ekdin” and expected to release soon.
Corporate and Teaching Career:
From 2003 to 2004, Tahsan worked in Unilever. Then from 2006, he has been involved in the teaching profession in different education. Currently, he is working at BRAC University. Currently, he is working at BRAC University.
