Peya Bipasha is a Bangladesh model and actress. She entered into Bangladesh media through a beauty pageant show. Peya kicked off in the industry through modeling. Later she started to work in TV media and big screen. Peya had some rough past, however, she did not stop rather worked hard to be established.
Personal Life
Azmeri Sultana Bipasha is the real name of Peya Bipasha. She was born on July 18, 1991, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. However, her family origin is from Khulna. Peya Bipasha completed her HSC from Siddeshwari Girls College. She had a passion to work in media, however, she also wanted to involve in Arm force though it did not happen. Peya had a child marriage and she took divorce later at the age of 16. From that relationship, she has a daughter. Her name is “Soha”. Her siblings are Lutfunnahar Asha (Elder Sister) and Amir Rahman (Younger Brother)
Career
Peya participated in 2012 Lux-Channel i beauty pageant show along with her sister Azmeri Asha. She managed a spot in top 10, however she left without informing any details. Meanwhile, her sister grabbed the position of the first runner up in the contest. After the contest, she focused on modeling. Her first work as a model was from Aarong. Later she also worked for some top fashion brands like Ecstasy, Cats Eye and etc.
However, her work in “Cholo Bohudur” TV commercial of Grameenphone helped her to strengthen her position in the media business. Meanwhile, she also worked as a model in billboard advertisement of “Vaseline”. The billboard was publicized all over the country. Later she worked in the TVC of Ispahani Tea, Polar Ice Cream and many more.
Peya in TV Drama and Music Video:
Bipasha started her work in TV drama with Tahsan in the drama “Ditiyo Matra” It was aired in Ekushey TV during 2013. Since then Piya has worked in many TV dramas with some top media personalities including Riaz, Afzal Hossain and many more. Peya also worked in a popular show “Basic Ali” which was basically a portray of Basic Ali cartoon from Prothom-Alo. There she replaced Sabila Nur. She also worked in some music videos also including in a song of “Habib Wahid”.
Peya Bipasha in Movie and involved in controversy
Peya has the dream to be a movie star. Her first movie was “Rudro The Gangster”. Despite the movie was not hit but it created a path for her to enter into the movie industry. Later she got the opportunity to work in another movie in the opposite of Shakib Khan.
However, she later refused due to harassment by the director. She claimed the movie industry was not a good place to work for a woman. She received both positive and negative reaction regarding that. Consequently, she left the big screen and took a long break. Later, she came back and signed to work in some new movies. In an interview with Priyo, she claimed that she would go for good quality work rather focus on the number of works. To focus on the movie, she reduced her work in TV drama.
