Ferdous Ahmed is a Bangladesh movie actor, model. He has worked in both Bangladesh and Indian (Kolkata) movies including a Bollywood movie. This movie actor has worked with some top-level directors.
Personal Life:
Ferdous Ahmed, commonly known as Ferdous came from a non-media background. He was born on June 7, 1972. His father was Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan and mother was Osi (Commonly known in the native areas). Ferdous’s father was a government officer. He was keen towards the entertainment industry since his childhood, however, his family did not approve it. Despite the challenges, he managed to create space in showbiz business. Ferdous studied in journalism at Dhaka University.

Tania Ferdous and Ferdous Ahmed married on 9th Dec 2003. Despite having complete occupation this couple managed to continue their life together happily. By Occupating Tania is a pilot of Bangladesh Biman, so she needs to be in different corners of the world most of the time. Ferdous talks about their relationship in Prothom-Alo that “Both of us are busy with our work. We are not dependable on each other, again we are so much depended. We put most of the importance in trust in our relationship. We trust each other. Where I work, I need to work with different actresses all the time. If she (Tania) does not trust me then it would be hard for me to work”. This couple is having two kids, they are: Nuzhat Ferdous and Nuzran Ferdous.
Career
Ferdous started his career as a model. He was chosen by Bibi Russell, an internal fashion designer. His physical structure was very helpful for him to create a space as a model. He has been introduced to the movie industry by dance director Amir Hossain Babu. He planned with him in the movie “Nach Mouri Nach”. However, that plan did not work out. Later for the first time he came in front of the camera to complete an unfinished movie by Salman Shah in 1997. The movie was “Buker Bhitor Agun”, directed by Chotku Ahmed. He got his first leading role in the movie “Prithibi amare chay” in 1998.

On 1998, Ferdous got the opportunity to work in a joint production movie “Hothat Brishti”, directed by Basu Chatterjee. This movie changed his life. The movie was highly appreciated by movie critics and also by spectaculars. It allowed him to establish him as the top actor in the industry.
After “Hothat Brishti”, Ferdous became a regular face in the movie in both Bangladesh and Kolkata movies. However, instead of focusing on and crowned him with a National Award. single character, Ferdous worked on various types of movies. He worked with Humayun Ahmed (Chandrakotha, 2003), Mostafa Sarwar Farooki (Bachelor, 2004), Amzad Hossain (Kal Shokale) and many more.

Ferdous had another big break in the movie “Khairun Shundori” in 2007. The movie was based on Bangladesh village life and directed by A K Sohel. On 2009, we received his second national award for the Dome character in Gangajatra movie. He also produced a movie “Ek Cup Cha” which released on 2014. Also, he worked in the movie focused on Bangladesh Freedom Fighting (Guerrilla), an inspirational movie “Jaggo”. All of these shows his willingness to add variety in his work. He also worked in a movie “Mitti” at Bollywood.
He has a film product house and event planning studio. In 2018/19.
