Tanjin Tisha is a Bangladeshi model and actress. Tisha was passionate about dancing, however, started her career as a model. She came under limelight working in TV drama. Apart from acting, she has performed in some music videos and host in TV shows as well.
Personal Life:
Tanjin Tisha was born on 25th May, 1993 at Siddheswari, Dhaka. Her parents are Enamul Haque and Shahin Mafuza. They are four sisters and one brother. Tisha is the youngest of all. Tanjin had passion for dancing. However, her parents did not allow that to focus more on the study. She completed till HSC exam from Siddeshwari Girls High School & College. Later she intended to pursue higher education on film and media.
There was a rumor about the relationship between Tanjn Tisha and Habib Wahid. They met to work in a music video. Some report suggested Tisha was the reason to pursue Habib to divorce his wife. However, in an interview, Tanjin mentioned that she was not the reason to break the marriage of Habib. She also told that she and Habib broke up. She did not have a proper idea about why Habib came in her life and why he left eventually.
Career
As a ramp model, Tisha entered into Bangladesh media industry during 2011. However, she came into focus through a TV advertisement of “Amitabh Reza Chowdhury” in 2012. Since then she became a regular face in media. In 2014, she received Meril-Prothom Alo award for the drama “U-Turn”. Ever since she worked in more than 150 TV drama, mostly in single episode drama.
Some her notable dramas are: U-Turn, Apon Kotha, Mayna Tiya, Shonali Roddur, Kath Golaper Bashanto, Palta Hawa, Megh Pakhi Eka, Korban Alir Quarbani, Chocolate Boy, Shadhu.
Simultaneously, she continued to work in TV advertisements and music videos. Some of her notable TVC are Robi, Pursuit Oil, Polar Ice Cream, Diamond World, etc. One of her performed music video “Bolte Bolte Cholte Cholte” a song by Imran Mahmudul was immensely popular via Youtube.
Tanjin Tisha mentioned she had an intention to work in movies only if she receives a good script to work on.
